Established in 2004 for donors contributing $500-$999.
Giving Options and Criteria for Leadership Giving:
- Leadership gifts must be designated to the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region and/or one of its partner agencies.
- Donors may use payroll deduction or scheduled payments to meet their pledge.
- The giving of husband and wife may be combined to qualify for membership. Donors who give to the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region through other federations also qualify for combined leadership giving.
- Donors may request their membership and giving to be kept confidential.
To become a Leadership Donor at the Red River Society level:

1. Introduce yourself to a neighbor that you don't know. Or join your neighborhood association.
2. Learn about how to better prepare your child for kindergarten.
3. Build a brighter future by making an online donation.
4. Purchase fresh produce at your local Farmer's Market to support safe, local, healthy food and living.
5. Find a volunteer opportunity.
6. Tell someone about 2-1-1, the 3 digit phone number that connects those in need with important services to help.
7. Organize a clothing or food drive with your family, friends, co-workers, school, club or faith community.
8. Enroll your child in a summer reading program at the local library.
9. Speak up and speak out. Contact your elected officials about issues important to you and your community.
10. Share with others how you Live United.
